What to Expect at Your First Appointment

When you visit our office, you will either be greeted by our owner and audiologist, Dr. Leila Grant-Cleveland, or her sister, Maria Grant. As a family owned and operated practice, our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your appointment.

1. We will begin with a conversation to get to know you and what your hearing needs are. We will go over your paperwork and ask you some questions to gather a better understanding of how we can best help you.

2. Then we will perform an ear exam by looking inside your ears with an otoscope. We need to ensure your ears are free of any impacted earwax before we can move onto the hearing test.

3. Once we’ve ensured your ears look healthy, then we will have you wear a pair of headphones and assess your ability to hear various sounds at different frequencies.

4. We will go over your results which are recorded on an audiogram.

5. If you would be a good candidate for hearing aids, we will go over some options that will best fit your unique hearing needs.
